The degree program combines business administration with law, the latter with a share of approx.% In the Bachelor's degree programme, the major part of the total course content is made up. From the 4th Semesters give you the opportunity to specialize. The practical curriculum and the short study period allow you to react quickly to trends in the labor market and to start practice at an early stage. Our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in German and European Business Law offer an excellent education for a career in a wide variety of fields. Our graduates work in management positions of DAX companies and global management consultancies, in legal departments, as contract managers, in compliance, insolvency administration and many other professions. There is consistently an exceptionally high demand for them on the labour market with corresponding salaries.

Teaching and research are closely connected with us, which is why we have been offering subjects such as contract negotiations, data protection and data economy law, AI law and compliance for our business lawyers for several years and constantly accompany current legislative projects, including through our own research contributions.

The Siegen Castle Campus also offers excellent study conditions. In addition to modern lecture halls, a canteen designed in the hillside and a beautiful and bright library, in which there are always free places, you always have personal contact with your professors and a campus of short distances.

Admission requirements

The degree programme in German and European Business Law begins in the winter semester. Requirements for access are the general university entrance qualification, the subject-specific university entrance qualification or the technical college entrance qualification. Applicants with a subject-specific university entrance qualification or a technical college entrance qualification must meet certain entry requirements: Information on application and enrolment.

An internship of at least three months in a suitable business enterprise, a suitable freelance practice / law firm or in a suitable public body (authority, court) is obligatory during your studies. The internship can be completed with a business, legal or interdisciplinary focus. For those who want to enter the economy immediately after the bachelor's degree, a significantly longer internship period is recommended.
