"I decided on the basis of the international orientation"

I chose the Bachelor's programme in European Business Communication (EWK) because of its international orientation and the integrated stay abroad at the partner university Orléans in France. Although many degree programmes now offer the opportunity to study abroad for a while with mobility programmes such as Erasmus, EWK has some advantages in this respect. The courses are predetermined and therefore much easier to calculate. In addition to Erasmus, there is financial support from the German-French University.
With the courses in the course of the bachelor's programme, students gain insights into very different subject areas such as linguistics, economics or cultural studies. With the compulsory voting area, I was able to put an additional focus on the European Union. The contact with the French students and the good networking of all students of the student goose in the alumni association was another great advantage. The exchange and mutual support was very helpful for the stay abroad and generally a great enrichment. The intercultural exchange with other Erasmus students in Orléans has always given us a lot of pleasure.
Overall, studying in EWK allowed me to significantly improve my French and English skills and get to know many great people. With the language practice courses in French and the contact with native speakers in Orléans and later in Siegen, I was able to significantly expand my school knowledge and can now very well imagine continuing my studies, at least in part, in France and working there. I can only recommend EWK to all those interested in French and France!

Admission requirements

The B.A. European Business Communication programme always starts in the winter semester.

The prerequisite for access is proof of special language skills (level B2 for French and English), which are generally proven by the school university entrance qualification. It is strongly recommended, although not mandatory, to take a language test before the start of your studies, which serves as the basis for a subsequent consultation with prospective students and teachers.
