“As a student of the Master's programme in German and European Business Law at the University of Siegen, I was able to gain valuable experience and deepen my knowledge. The combination of legal and economic content has given me a solid understanding of practice-relevant framework conditions. I particularly appreciate the close connection between theory and practice through internships, case studies and the use of lecturers from practice.

Admission requirements
- Successfully completed studies of the following type:
- Bachelor's degree in German and European Business Law or in a comparable course of study or
- Bachelor's degree in another course of study with at least 60 credit points in legal subjects or
- the diploma or master's examination with at least 60 credit points in legal subjects, or
- State Examination for the 1st State Examination in Law
- Minimum grade of the degree:
- Good (2.5) in the case of a Bachelor's, Diploma or Magister examination
- Satisfactory (6.5 points) in the case of the 1st state examination
- Knowledge of English:
- English language proficiency at level B2 or
- passed examinations for English-language courses in the amount of 4 semester hours per week or
- three-month internship in an English-speaking country or
- one semester study stay in an English-speaking country
- Aptitude interview:
- Interested parties who have not achieved the minimum grade but have passed an aptitude interview will also be admitted.

Subject examination regulations (FPOs) define the basic structures of a course of study (e.g. entry requirements and content to be studied). For students, the current version of an FPO automatically applies when enrolling in the first semester. This means that even in the event of changes to the PO during the course of your studies, the original version according to which you have registered is valid (provided that this FPO does not expire).
The respective course plan represents the recommended exemplary course of study in the individual subjects and is part of an FPO. Additional regulations and detailed information for each module to be studied can be found in the annex to the subject examination regulations (e.g. requirements for taking a written examination or information on the content of the modules/events, ...).
The traineeship regulations define the conditions under which the mandatory or optional traineeships must be completed.
Before the start of the lecture period, we recommend that you at least look at the course schedule of your course of study so that you know which modules are planned for the start of your studies.
