Unfortunately, studying in Siegen was not my first idea when I was looking for a place to study after graduating from high school. In retrospect, I am very happy with my decision, because when you arrive, you quickly realize the decisive advantages of the study location Siegen offers. The campus in the castle is centrally located near the train station, the paths are short, the lecture halls are not crowded thanks to the good care ratio and if you want, then you can easily get in touch with the professors.
In the first semesters, you will be taught the basics of business administration. Here you learn the basics such as accounting, marketing, production and, for example, a business simulation is carried out. Afterwards, you can choose from a wide range of specializations. This gives you the opportunity to follow your interests and align your studies with them. For example, I was very interested in international management. If you wish, there is also the possibility of further training beyond the course content through additional modules and certificate courses. This prepares you even better for professional practice.
In addition, there are numerous opportunities to volunteer and develop soft skills. For example, I work for student interests in the Student Council. Through the social interaction among the students, I have made contacts for life. And if you are looking for advice during your studies, the Academic Advisor for Business Administration is at your side. Therefore, I would always choose the University of Siegen.
