The degree program can be studied with two main focuses. The focus on digital public health is not subject to authorisation. Here you can register directly.

The focus on ‘Biomedical Technology’ is restricted in admission, so you must apply for a place at university. In addition, you must register at hochschulstart.de.

The course of study

The Digital Biomedical and Health Sciences degree programme focuses on modern aspects of a digitalised and future-proof healthcare system. Depending on the focus, the areas of biomedical technologies and digital health care play a central role. The degree program combines interdisciplinary fields of (bio-)medicine, technology and health economics or sociology. Students have the opportunity to acquire a wide range of medical knowledge in individually supervised seminars, lectures and practical exercises in order to later become experts in a variety of professions.
